San Miguel Villa is renowned throughout the Bay Area largely due to our highly esteemed 70-bed Memory Care Unit. This specialized area allows us to care for post-hospitalized patients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other neurological conditions. San Miguel Villa is one of the only facilities in the Bay Area with a Memory Care Unit and contracts with psychiatric clinicians to closely monitor the wellbeing of our residents.
Orthopedic Rehab
We have a talented team of therapists that specialize in Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech Therapy (ST). Our therapy team works hand-in-hand with physicians and surgeons to ensure that our patients reach their highest level of independence.
Wound Management
We are proud to offer extensive wound care by our team of treatment nurses. We have specialized wound care nurses who work directly with our nursing staff to organize and conduct weekly wound care rounds for patient consultation and follow up to ensure that wounds are properly cared for and promote maximum healing potential.

Nutrition Services
At San Miguel Villa, we have a full-time Registered Dietitian for our patients’ dietary needs. For patients with special dietary requirements, our dietician works directly with our kitchen staff to ensure all requirements are met.
Activities Program
The psychological well being of each resident is very important to us. We offer an ongoing program, 7 days a week, to meet the interests of each resident through physical and mental activities. We strive to provide interactive and fun activities where everyone can participate.
Social Services
Our Social Services Directors are resident advocates who seek to improve the quality of life and well being of each resident by helping residents cope with emotional, social, and medical health care needs. They facilitate care conferences, support groups, and provide counseling services for residents and family members.
